Palawan in Metro Manila: The Visit Palawan Expo

Palawan, indeed, is one of the country’s most treasured paradises. Virtually untouched, this cluster of islands in Southern Luzon boasts of pristine white-sand beaches and a peaceful ambiance.

Last Aug. 14 and 15, the local government of Palawan, headed by (then) provincial governor Joel T. Reyes, held the Visit Palawan Expo at the Glorietta 3 Park Covered Tent at Ayala Center Makati, inviting everyone to indulge in the beauty that is Palawan.

Palawan also houses the Tubbataha Reef, one of the world’s most famous diving sites and among the list of UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites.

The two-day event highlighted the province as a tropical paradise and encouraging the expo visitors to “discover its charm and beauty, be dazzled by its natural wonders, unwind in its quiet and peaceful surroundings, or just commune with nature at its best.”

“Discover Palawan, where every island is an adventure.”
