DLSU ECES holds Resurgence: The National Convention

Dubbed as De La Salle University’s (DLSU) number one student organization, the Electronics and Communications Engineering Society (ECES) carried out “ECE and Beyond 2009 Resurgence: The National ECE Convention last August 13-15, 2009.

In celebration of their 30th anniversary with the goal developing the academic skills of Lasallian ECE students through interaction with other ECE students from schools and universities all over country, the convention featured an academic competition entitled “Ultimate ECE Challenge.” They also had ECE career discussion and forum, Convergence seminar, company talks on latest innovations, and elective seminars with topics that include information technology, embedded systems application, technopreneurship, and manufacturing-based systems.

Awarded as Best Short Term Activity, ECE and Beyond: The National Convention’s advocacy is to prove that amidst of this crisis or recession that the world is facing right now the ECE body can stand as one and be productive for the years to come.
