The Philippines Institute for Supply Management (PISM) has recently concluded Supply Link 2010 last April 15 and 16 at the Crowne Plaza, Pasig City, with the theme “Break Through Borders! Conquer New Heights!”
Supply Link 2010 is powered by PISM’s continuing pursuit for excellence and empowering the supply chain management profession in Asia. The technical sessions were carefully planned to ensure that relevant topics for both local and global realities were discussed, including the challenges currently facing supply chain professionals.
Among the subjects of the plenary sessions were strategic collaborations, the road map for supply chain management for the year, procurement competency, and integrated warehouse solutions. Topics about logistics operations and customer service as well as in leading edge technologies in supply management were also included in the different plenary sessions.
Supply Link 2010 was also geared toward maximizing the interface, networking, and industry knowledge base, as well as leveraging collective knowledge and skills of local and global peers in the supply chain profession, encouraging their membership and organization to move and achieve that common goal.
The PISM Supply Link 2010 was made possible with the help of media partner, the Business World www.bworldonline.com.
