Buyers, Enthusiasts Heads to Manila International Auto Show this April

Buyers, collectors, and enthusiasts of vintage cars, custom cars, race cars, and everything else that has motor and runs on wheels will roll out to the World Trade Center in Manila this April 15 – 18, 2010 for the 2010 edition of Manila International Auto Show.

The Manila International Auto Show (MIAS), organized by Worldbex Services International, is an annual venue for car buyers and enthusiasts alike to take a closer look at the latest models and significant concept from the Philippines’ premier auto makers. Manila International Auto Show is the Philippines’ biggest motor show in terms of visitor count, cars on display, and exhibitors.

This year’s theme is “Crossing Boundaries,” with a dual thrust. The first is to highlight the unparalleled capabilities of today’s vehicle as they give better performance and fuel economy. The second is to boost industry sales beyond its previous performance with a well-attended selling event.

The show also aims to foster industry cooperation and provide a stimulus to spur demand for the automotive industry. Together with media, the private sector and government initiatives, MIAS aims to promote the local automotive manufacturing industry and serve as an engine for growth.

Numerous activities have been lined up during the four-day event. Highlights include debut car launches, off-road and on-road test drives, Motorsports clinic, Top Gear exhibit, and a special presentation by precision driving and stunt show icon Mr. Russ Swift and the rest of Russ Swift Precision Driving Services. There will also be the annual MIAS Classical and Custom Car Competition, Car of the Year Awards Exhibition as well as photography contests.

The Manila International Auto Show 2010 is sponsored by Top Gear Magazine (Official Magazine), Philippine Savings Bank (PS Bank) (Auto Loan sponsor), and Tourism Malaysia (Tour Sponor), Red Rock Travel Facilitators (Philippine F1 Tour Provider) and Malaysia Airlines (Official Airline).
