With the advent of the so-called “artista” searches and talent shows on TV, My Fame and Fortune powered the Road to Fame Fashion and Talent Congress at the Festival Supermall Trade Hall.
The congress began last January with an online search for talents. Out of more than 500 entries, 24 applicants were selected for an on-the-spot photo shoot at the Fort (Bonifacio Global City), assisted by photographer Noel Ty and make-up and hair stylist Leo dela Cruz and team.
For eight consecutive Saturdays, which began last March 6, auditions were held for everyone interested to become TV and print ad models or TV show and fashion event talents. Auditionees were also given a chance to meet the country's top talent agencies, TV networks, commercial brands, make-up artists and hairstylists, and photographers.
Fashion shows were conducted last March 28, April 18, and May 9, which starred the newest members of the Road to Fame model pool.
