This year marked the 400th year of the University of Santo Tomas in España, Manila. The exposition will be from October 15 to 17 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. Thomasian Leaders Alumni Association, Inc., and the university administration, is in full swing preparation for its Quadri-Centennial Celebration.
This event will showcase the products and services of corporations, as well as small and medium enterprises that are either owned or managed by UST alumni. As part of the celebration, moreover, last March 24, the Thomasian Global Trade Expo (TGTE) was unfolded at the Hyatt Hotel and Casino in Manila.
Some of the alumni officials noted that this is the first time that UST, in its 400-year history, will have this kind of activity that will showcase the contributions of its alumni to Philippine society and to the rest of the world. The TGTE is one of the major highlights of UST’s Quadri-Centennial celebration.
