The Subdivision and Housing Developers Association Inc. (SHDA) in partnership with the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC) hosted the 2009 SHDA-HUDCC National Developers Convention at the Dusit Thani Hotel, Makati City last September 17 to 18, 2009.
With focus on "Housing Leading to National Recovery", the convention covered a wide range topics which included discussions of macro issues such as global trends, urban revitalization and specific housing concerns like developmental and end-user finance, fast-tracking housing program through legislation, Overseas Filipino Workers marketing, the recent Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) ruling on real estate taxation, and other topics of interest to all practitioners in the housing sector.
The convention will not be a complete success without the support of the major sponsors: Landbank, National Home Mortgage Finance Corporation, Planters Development Bank, Phil Retirement Authority, Property Company of Friends, Robinson's Land Corporation, Sterling Bank of Asia, Surewell Equities, and Woodridge Properties.
Extended support were also received with other sponsors which include BPI Family Savings Bank, Davies Paints, Filinvest Land, Firm Builders Realty, PAAlvarez PDC/PAMRBI, Philmetal Products Inc., and Philtown Properties.
