Small & Medium Enterpreneurs (SME’s), business experts and economists gathered together at the AIM Conference Center Manila (ACCM), Makati City on May 29-30, 2009 as they interacted for the common good of everyone, the promotion and protection of each one’s businesses.
The business summit featured Filipino and overseas experts that talked about finding key methods on business dealings that will give advantage to Philippine businesses and organizations. The program focused on the development of Small & Medium enterprises revolving on topics regarding business opportunities, consultation, and method application.
In line with the event’s theme: “Setting the Phase for Innovation and Enterpreneurship,” Identifying key factors of improvement was a goal of the event so that proper action regarding these needed areas of improvement may be undertaken.
Keynote speaker, former Vice-President Honorable Noli “Kabayan” De Castro gave importance to this development, highly regarding the SMEs as making up about 60% of the country’s exports.
Aside from the vice president, business organizations also presented their respective proposals and opinions on the subject.
The two-day event was made possible by Philevents Management and Advertising Company ; and Philippine League for Business Development Welfare, Inc. (Philbidev), with Ms. Grace Abliter and Mr. John Yam respectively heading the said organization s.
