PCS Leads the Way for 13th ICT Professionals’ Congress

The Philippine Computer Society (PCS), the country’s premier and largest organization of information and communications technology (ICT) professionals in the country, is spearheading the annual ICT Professionals’ Congress scheduled on May 20-21, 2009 at the Dusit Thani Manila in Makati City.

With the theme, “Gain IT, Move IT, Rate IT”, the annual conference shall feature plenary sessions on the major developments and directions of global and local technology providers, market leaders in wireless business data communication and next generation mobile solutions, and insights from top chief information officers, information systems executives and certified professionals.

Valuable input from the education sector and government policy-makers on ICT matters are also on the agenda, in the hope of addressing the mismatch between curriculum and the actual human capital needs of the industry.

The event will also showcase best practices in offshoring and outsourcing as well as exhibit products and services from global and local solution providers, event sponsors and exhibitors.

The 13th ICT Professionals’ Congress is supported by Commission on Information and Communications Technology (CICT), Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
