Children Take on Marathon Challenge at Alaska Ironkids Philippines

Children from various age groups put on their rubber shoes and ran their way to a healthy and active lifestyle as they took part in Alaska Milk Ironkids Philippines Run Race 2010 held last February 28, 2010 at the Manila Polo Club in Makati City.

Inspired by the IronMan Triathlon competition, the Alaska Milk IronKids Philippines is a series of swimming, biking and running events for the youth ranging in age from 6 to 14 years. The event allows children to participate in an enjoyable and healthy activity that provides positive feeling about them. In addition, Alaska Milk IronKids Philippines inspires and teaches children to improve themselves in all endeavors of life by working hard and persevering.

The Alaska Milk IronKids Philippines, organized by Sunrise Events Inc., follows the highly successful, excellently organized and world-class Cobra Energy Drink Ironman 70.3 Philippines held in Camarines Sur Watersports Complex in Camarines Sur last August 28, 2009.
