It is undeniable that Filipinos love to eat. From Batanes to Jolo, you will experience not hundreds and hundreds of different dishes, with different variations to suit everyone's palate.
In celebration of this wonderful blend of flavors and tastes, Courage Asia and Global Link MP produced and organized Dine Philippines 2010: The Food Business Conference of Today's Dining Establishments last July 24 at the Waterfront Hotel in Cebu City.
Conference speakers for the flavor-filled event were Chef Bruce Lim, host of the program Tablescapes in the Asian Food Channel (Asian inspired menus); Chef Amir Gan, technical consultant for Meat and Livestock Australia (managing kitchen costs by ingredient substitution); Chef Wade Watson, executive chef of the Abaca Resort and Mayo Restaurant (local and global menus); Architect Gene Go, managing director of GSN+P Architecture Studio (save on restaurant design and construction); Mr. Danny Pumarega, president of Foodsense Solutions Commissary (outsourcing kitchen production and choosing the commissary for kitchen needs); Ms. Bel Castro, gastronomy expert and faculty member of Enderun Colleges and Center for Asian Culinary Studies (customer service excellence); and Mr. Steve Benitez, president of Bo's Coffee (taking home-grown concepts to reality).
