The Association of Firearms and Ammunition Dealers of the Philippines Inc. in cooperation with the Philippine National Police, Civil Security Group, Firearms and Explosives Division, Eastern Police District, Mandaluyong City Police Station, Philippine Practical Shooting Association, National Range Officers Institute, Philippine National Shooting Association, and Steel Challenge Shooting Association Philippines presents the 18th Defense and Sporting Show last July 15-19 at the Megatrade Hall, SM Megamall.
Carrying the theme, “Gun Ownership: A lifetime responsibility”, the event showcased free seminars on Gun Safety and Responsible Gun Ownership, Gun Maintenance Workshop, Legal Aspect of Gun Ownership, The Future in Sport Shooting, Olympic Shooting Sport: An Intro, Starting the Airsoft Hobby, Filipino Martial Arts, Arnis Applications, Street Smart, and Street Safety.
Aside from support given by some organizations, the arms show was also supported by the Philippine Star, Philstar.com, Manila Bulletin, The Daily Tribune, People’s Journal, DZRH, Dream 106.7, DZIQ , Magic 89.9, 97.9 Home Radio, NU 107, 105.1 Crossover, and Taytan International Corporation.
