Cebu Food Expo 2010 and “Cebu Goes Culinary ‘10” held back-to-back

The Hotel, Resort and Restaurant Association of Cebu Inc. (HRRACI) and Global-Link MP Events International Inc. (GMP) held “Cebu Goes Culinary 2010” food event back-to-back with the Cebu Food Expo 2010 at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino last July 22 to 25, 2010. The food event had a theme 21st Century Cooking: Balancing Flavors & Sustainability.

The Cebu Goes Culinary and the Cebu Food Expo are known to be the region’s premier food and hospitality event in the culinary industry. The Cebu Goes Culinary was attended by professionals and students can show their talent and creativity through different competitions while the Cebu Food Expo brought over 90 exhibitors in the Food & Beverage, Bakery Equipment & Ingredients, Confectionery, Packaging and Processing Technology, Franchising & Business Opportunities together and attracted over 5,000 serious trade buyers and 200 exhibitors representing products from all over the world including Australia, China, Denmark, France, Germany, HongKong, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, United States and the Philippines.

Cebu Goes Culinary was also creatively highlighted by the Display Class, Visayas Chef Wars, and Quest for the Best Competition that featured Photolicious, a food photography contest open to professional and amateur photographers nationwide, a Menu Writing & Design contest, and a Quiz Bee open to all HRM students.

These back-to-back events were made possible by the partnering teams Hotel, Resort and Restaurant Association of Cebu Inc. and Global-Link MP Events International Inc.
