Freestyle Media, Inc. together with the Department of Tourism, Department of Education and the Commission on Higher Education coordinated “Right Degree: The 2010 College Conference and Exhibit.” The affair was held at Clamshell Intramuros, Manila last August 12-14, 2010.
With the theme “Promoting Quality Education in the Philippines for the Filipinos and the World,” the conference aims to gather 3rd and 4th year high school students in a conference-cum-exhibit where students will have an opportunity to visit more than prospective colleges and universities to help them find what suits them well as an individual. Career topics tackled at the event included; Accountancy, Animation, Architecture, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Game Development, HRM, Criminology, ECE, Culinary, Education, Information Technology, Mass Communication and others. 27 schools participated in the said event as exhibitors, they were Adamson University, Asia Pacific College, Assumption College, Ateneo de Manila University, Center for Culinary Arts Manila, Central Colleges of the Philippines, Collegio de Sta. Monica, Cosmopoint International Institute of Technology, De La Salle University, Don Bosco Technical College, Far Eastern University-Makati, FEU-East Asia College, Global City Innovative College, iAcademy, Institute of Culinary Arts and Food Service, Miriam College, National Christian Life College, Our Lady of Fatima University, Philippine College of Criminology, Saint Jude College, Sprott Shaw Community College, DOST Science Education Institute, St. Scholastica’s College, The Academy for International Culinary Arts, The National Teacher’s College, University of Santo Tomas and University of the Philippines.
