Sudoku Super Challenge on its fifth

Mathematics Trainer’s Guild of the Philippines, a proud member of World Puzzle Federation, in cooperation with SM Supermalls http://www.smsupermalls.com/smsupermalls/index.php?p=633, People’s Journal http://www.journal.com.ph/, and People’s Tonight proudly presents the 5th Philippine Sudoku Super Challenge.

Sudoku is a crossword inspired game wherein instead of letter you need to fill out the spaces with numbers in whatever order for as long as you will not repeat the same number in the horizontal and vertical lines as well the boxes where it belongs.

The categories set for the competition were: Sudoku Whizkid, which was joined by participants in the Elementary level; Sudoku Wizard, for those in the High School level; and Sudoku Grandmaster for the College and Professional participants.

The regional elimination round was held last October 16 while the National Finals was slated on January 29, 2011.
