MICROSPHIL Schedules Annual Scientific Conference

The Microscopy Society of the Philippines (MICROSPHIL) will be holding its annual Scientific Conference and General Membership Meeting on March 13 – 14, 2009 at the Yuchengco seminar rooms, Yuchengco Building, De La Salle University, in Taft Avenue, Manila.

With the theme “Microscopy: Top-down and Bottom-up Approaches”, this annual event is an important venue for professionals from different scientific disciplines whose common interest is microscopy. The two day affair will present technical papers in all fields that deal with any type of microscopy will be presented; general assembly for all members; Photomicrograph exhibit and competition; and scientific workshop on Advanced Microscopy Techniques.

Furthermore, local and foreign experts in the field of microscopy will also be invited to share their knowledge and breakthroughs in microscopy. A peer-reviewed 2008 MICROSPHIL Conference Proceedings (ISSN registered publication) will be available for the conference.
